For high schools

High school fundraisers that thank the people who share.

Run senior trip, athletics, and arts campaigns where the sharer whose personal link brings in a donation can earn an optional $20 digital gift card, funded by Shareathon, for every $500 raised. Donors cover card processing at checkout, so your school's 80% stays whole.

What this looks like for high schools

Built around how you already work.

One platform, every season

Fall sports, winter band, spring trips, senior celebrations — all from one organization profile.

Coaches & directors stay in the loop

Leaders curate the share templates students and parents send.

Board-ready reporting

Per-campaign and per-organization exports. Every dollar traceable from donor to payout.

Print-ready one-pagers

Designed templates with your headline and campaign QR code.

Most high schools pick
One simple 80 / 10 / 10 split

Your school keeps 80% of every donation. Another 10% goes to the Share Fund, so the group that invited you keeps earning — and so do you when you invite another group. Sharers can optionally earn a $20 gift card for every $500 they help raise, fully funded by Shareathon.

What's different

Multiply your funds by sharing.

Two clean ways to run it: pay the student sharer, or have your admins grow the school's bonus by inviting other schools. Pick one per campaign.

Run it all from a phone or tablet.

Safety & oversight

Built for leaders who care about doing this well.

FERPA-aware by default

First name only on public pages. Last names, photos, and grade level never appear unless an admin enables them.

Leader-curated share messages

Coaches, directors, and class sponsors shape the share templates students choose from.

Sharer thank-you: $20 per $500

If the campaign turns rewards on, every $500 a sharer brings in can earn them an optional $20 digital gift card — funded by Shareathon, never by your school.

Runs on any phone or tablet

Coaches, directors, and class sponsors launch, share, and track from mobile. No desktop required.

Donor-friendly by design

Your 80% stays whole.

Donors cover card processing on top of their gift at checkout, so the full donation amount counts toward your goal — no tips solicited, no surprises.

$20 thank-you, on us

Shareathon pays for the sharer's $20 gift card.

Every $500 a sharer's personal link brings in earns them a flat $20 digital gift-card thank-you. It's a referral thank-you from Shareathon — no cost to your organization or your donors.

What people usually ask

The good questions, answered.

How do sharers get rewarded?
Rewards are optional per campaign. When they're on, a $20 digital gift card for every $500 their share brings in — bring in $1,000 and that's two cards. Shareathon funds them, so your school never pays for them.
How does the split work?
Every campaign uses the same 80/10/10 split: 80% to your school, 10% to the Share Fund — paid to the group that invited you onto Shareathon — and 10% to Shareathon to run the platform. No one keeps a personal cut of their own campaign.
How does Shareathon handle FERPA?
Student profiles default to first name only. Photos and last names never publish unless an admin enables them.
